Application is hereby made to the National Lubricating Grease Institute for membership in the following category:
Active
Associate
Marketing
Technical
Consumer

Active Membership : For individuals, partnerships, or corporations manufacturing lubricating grease from basic raw materials. Dues are $825 per year.

Associate Membership : For individuals, partnerships, or corporations engaged in a business allied with or supplementary to the manufacturing of lubricating grease, but not a manufacturer or marketer of lubricating grease. Dues are $825 per year. Each member will be listed under one of the following headings. Please check the listing that describes the activities of your company.
Manufacturer of Containers and Closures
Refiner
Vendor of Laboratory Equipment and Supplies
Supplier of Equipment for Manufacturing Lubricating Greases
Manufacturer of Equipment for Lubricating Grease, including Application
Supplier of Materials for Manufacturing Lubricating Greases
Provider of Engineering Services  


Marketing Membership : For individuals, partnerships, or corporations engaged in the marketing or selling of lubricating grease, but not a supplementary business nor a manufacturer of lubricating grease. Dues are based on annual poundage (excluding gear and extreme pressure type oils) marketed and invoiced in the preceding calendar year as follows:

  • Less than 5 million pounds - $500 per year

  • More than 5 million pounds - $825 per year
Technical Membership : For individials, partnerships, corporations or institutions engaged in technical or scientific research, education, or consulting, but do not fit the definition of Active, Associate, Marketing, or Consumer Membership. Dues are $250 per year.

Consumer Membership : For individials, partnerships, or corporations that are users of lubricating grease and /or gear lubricants, but do not fit the definition of Active, Associate, Marketing, or Technical Membership. Dues are $250 per year.

Description of nature of your business :

Applicant should send payment favouring National Lubricating Grease Institute directly to the attention of the General Manager at International Headquarters, 4635 Wyandotte Street, Suite 202, Kansas City, Missouri, 64112-1596, USA.

Upon notification of election to membership in the National Lubricating Grease Institute, we promise to abide by the Constitution and By-Laws of the NLGI as long as such membership is continued.
